Does Service Provider Share My Information?

Service Provider does not sell your Personal Information. We share information only as described below:

Within Service Provider

We share information within Service Provider and its affiliates to provide Services, offer promotions, or improve customer experience. You may opt out of certain marketing uses of Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), as described below.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

CPNI includes information about the type, quantity, destination, technical configuration, location, usage, and billing of your VoIP or telecommunications Services. Federal law (e.g., FCC regulations) governs our use and sharing of CPNI. We may use CPNI to market related Services to you unless you opt out by contacting us at support@startechitsolutions.com. You may also limit sharing of certain credit information for marketing purposes.

With Vendors and Partners

We share information with vendors, partners, and underlying service providers (e.g., SkySwitch or its carriers) as necessary to deliver, repair, restore, or bill for Services. These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. When you purchase Services offered by Service Provider and an underlying provider (e.g., SkySwitch), both parties may receive your information. Review the provider’s privacy policy for additional details.

Directory Listings and Telephony Services

Your name and number may be transmitted via Caller ID unless you enable blocking. Note that Caller ID blocking does not prevent number display when dialing certain numbers (e.g., 911, 900, or toll-free 8XX numbers).

With Law Enforcement and Emergency Services

We disclose Personal Information when required by law, such as in response to court orders, subpoenas, warrants, regulatory requirements, E911 reporting, or investigations by law enforcement or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We may also disclose information in good faith to protect individuals, Service Provider, or the public from immediate threats of serious harm, including to 911 centers or emergency services.

With Credit and Collection Agencies

We share information with credit bureaus or collection agencies to assess credit risk, report payment history, or recover payments for Services.

Sale or Transfer of Business

In the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership, or transfer of substantially all of Service Provider’s assets, we may transfer your Personal Information to a third party, provided they agree to adhere to this Privacy Policy and use the data only for the purposes for which it was provided. You will be notified of such a transfer and given an opportunity to opt out.

  • Usernames, passwords, and access controls for sensitive data.

  • Firewalls and monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.
You are responsible for securing your account credentials and End Points (e.g., VoIP devices). No security system is foolproof, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems or that data will not be intercepted during transmission. Service Provider is not liable for unauthorized actions by third parties. We recommend regularly backing up your data.
